Vietnam Street Food

Not sure but it came from inside a chicken

We were lucky to travel during Mango season and carved at least one up daily

At dinner at a roadside stall in central Vietnam we stopped for soup and they gave us small fish, something like sardines. The locals were eating the heads so I popped one in my mouth and crunched down on a hook.

Hoi An's fried wonton

Vietnam's national dish, Pho. Beef broth soup which is fantastic but can be a challenge to eat in the midday heat. Even three bowls a day would not fill us up.

Dinner and a mango shake at a street stall. Mango shakes were the standard in all meals to cool you down from the incessant heat both in the food and in the air.
