A day at the beach

2 days of train travel south, we reached Kerala in far southern India. Unfortunately the pictures we took are already inaccessible to us right now--but imagine huge spice gardens and women picking tea leaves on steep slopes. We witnessed a parade of elephants crossing a lake, only trunks exposed as they swam across a channel. If we are able to post these images and vids from Europe we will.

Heading north from there, we spent one day on a beach in Goa before reaching Mumbai. This ended up working out well as Mumbai was still fighting terrorists at the time. Although one day was enough, we must admit that Goa was a cool spot. We figured out that this was the first beach we had been on since our trip began and yes, it was nice. We ate mass seafood, went for a nice, longe morning jog on the beach and enjoyed a 'honkless' India. And Brent had to a run in with a crab as you'll see below...

Kori getting her feet wet
Fishing boat on shore
Huge prawn (bigger than our Nalgene bottle)
Goan food (Malai Kafta on left, fish curry on right)--maybe $2 for everything
Crab attack
